Report illegal content

Found content on an instance we run (addresses under fluxer.software or chatting.lgbt) that you believe is illegal? Report it to us under Art. 16 of the Digital Services Act by mail to abuse@giegler.software.

If someone's life or safety is in immediate danger, contact the police right away (112 in the EU). You can also report child sexual abuse material anonymously to the INHOPE hotline in your country.

What to include

Where: the exact location of the content, such as the link to the message or channel, and the instance's address.
Why: an explanation of why the content is illegal, ideally naming the law it breaks.
Who: your name and email address. Exception: for offences under Art. 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU (child sexual abuse) you may report anonymously.
Statement: that you believe in good faith that your information is accurate and complete.

What happens next

We confirm receipt if you gave an email address.
We review the report promptly, diligently and objectively, and usually inform the community's operators.
We tell you our decision and what you can do if you disagree.

Anyone affected by a measure receives a statement of reasons and can object by mail to abuse@giegler.software.

What we don't review

A community's own rules (for example breaches of its code of conduct) are for its moderators. Please contact the community directly. We step in when content is illegal or breaks our terms.
