Fluxer is an open-source chat platform with servers, channels and roles. We run your own instance at yourname.fluxer.software: up to date, backed up and monitored.

Final prices. No VAT is charged (small business exemption, § 19 UStG). Billed monthly from the day you order, cancel at the end of any billing month. Change your plan at any time in the dashboard. The number of people is a guide from our load tests and depends on how active your community is.
Included in every plan
Automatic updates
New Fluxer versions go in at night (04:00 UTC). Each version runs on a test instance first and only then rolls out.
Nightly backups
Database backups covering 14 days and 8 weeks, files with 30 days of history. Stored at a second location, database backups encrypted.
Monitoring around the clock
We check your instance continuously and get alerted when something breaks. The status page shows how it is doing, and we announce planned maintenance there and by mail in advance.
Export whenever you want
Start a full export of your instance yourself in the dashboard. The download link stays valid for 7 days.
Your own domain
Your community runs at name.fluxer.software or on a subdomain of your own domain, such as chat.example.com. One DNS record is enough; we take care of the certificate.
Secure sign-in
Sign in to the dashboard with a mail link or a passkey, no password needed. Every instance runs separately from the others.

Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel?
In the dashboard, at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. Until then your instance keeps running as usual.
What happens to my data after cancelling?
Your instance is paused and you can still download an export for 30 days. After that we delete it. Backups expire on their normal schedule, after 8 weeks at the latest. The address stays reserved for another 30 days so nobody else can take it over.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, at any time in the dashboard. A bigger plan applies at once and is billed pro rata. A smaller plan applies from the next billing month, and you can undo the change until then.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on every plan at no extra cost. Enter a subdomain such as chat.example.com in the dashboard and add a CNAME record at your DNS provider. Once it is in place, we get the certificate and move your community over, usually within a few minutes. The previous address name.fluxer.software then forwards there, and passkeys keep working in current browsers. A bare domain (example.com) isn't possible.
Are there voice and video channels?
Not yet. Fluxer is rebuilding its voice system. We'll turn voice on once the new version is stable.
Are you Fluxer?
No. Fluxer is developed by Fluxer Platform AB and licensed under the AGPL-3.0 (source code). We are an independent provider running Fluxer instances for communities.
Do you support Fluxer?
Yes. We donate 15 % of our profit from Fluxer hosting to the Fluxer project to help the software grow. Profit means: Fluxer hosting revenue minus expenses and taxes.
Who is responsible for my community's content and members?
You are. We process your members' data on your behalf. The data processing agreement is part of every order.
